I promise I have not fallen off the face of the earth. My crazy life has just been crazier that usual. 8 days till relay for life! And 18 days till I leave on my dream trip to ENGLAND.

I am a follower of Christ and strive to do his will. I love Texas History, and American History. I enjoy Genealogy and love to see where my ancestors lived.
I have always been a huge fan of the Civil War Era, (antebellum South, GWTW etc) As a child read I all of Laura Ingles books, I’m doing my best to pass that love of history on to my children. At age 5 Elizabeth wanted me to read every historical marker to her so we did. Now she reads them to us.
